Ocean Ridge Projects is led by founder and registered builder Simon Catalani. With more than 20 years of experience across custom homes, renovations, extensions and complex site work, Simon brings practical thinking, clear communication and a steady focus on quality to every project.

Based on the Mornington Peninsula, Ocean Ridge Projects builds with a strong understanding of place. Coastal conditions, natural light, site access and the way a home will be used all shape the approach from the outset. The result is considered, durable spaces that feel right for their environment and the people living in them.

From steep or angled blocks to full internal reworks, extensions and new builds, each project is approached with realism, care and respect for the brief. The focus is not on overcomplicating the process. It is on getting the details right, making informed decisions early and delivering a result that holds up over time.

Our Process

  • Tell us what you are planning, where the project is located and any timing considerations. We will arrange a time to discuss your needs.

  • We visit the property to assess the space, take measurements and understand the practical details that will shape the work.

  • You receive a clear, itemised estimate outlining the recommended scope, materials, inclusions and expected timing.

  • Once you are ready to proceed, a deposit secures your project in our schedule and allows materials and preparation to be organised.

  • We complete the work to the agreed scope, walk through the finished result with you and finalise the remaining balance on completion.
